With over 8,171 acres of terrain to explore, you’ll have a full day of adventure!
You’ll want to start early and get a head start on the day. Crystal’s front desk team is happy to help if you need a wake-up call! or set your alarm to get in line to be the first up the mountain.
Explore Blackcomb’s groomed runs to warm up your legs and get a nice start to the day. Some fan-favourite groomers are Springboard, Green Line, Ridge Runner, Rock’N Roll, plus more!
After taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, ski down Jersey Cream or Wishbone to the base of Crystal Chair to get a lift to Crystal Hut for a late breakfast. Known for their waffles and views, you’ll want to take some pictures of this feast.
When you’re done sipping on your hot chocolate, pop over to 7th Heaven and take in the sights of the high alpine. *Locals tip: Avalanche control often prevents this chair from opening in the morning so you can get fresh tracks after breakfast if you plan it. Check the lift status here.*
You’ll eventually need to get your head out of the clouds and come down to the Peak to Peak for the ultimate Whistler experience. Start exploring Whistler Mountain in time for an on-mountain delicious lunch, and enjoy your meal while taking in the panoramic views that the Roundhouse Lodge offers.
At this point, you’ll need to work off all those calories you ate… it will be time to spend the rest of the afternoon skiing hard!! Wahoo!
Peak Chair offers challenging terrain, but traverse to Symphony Chair if you want to get away from the crowds. Continue exploring the vast terrain, making the most of the afternoon; trying out different lifts and runs is always fun to experience the full range of the resort’s offerings.
Once you have got your pow fix in, head back to the village and the base of the mountain for a pint at one of the several pubs located around the Crystal Lodge. Then, head back to your room to wind down and relax in the hot tub.
*Whistler Blackcomb offers a wide range of terrain suitable for all skill levels, so this outline can be adapted to suit your skiing or snowboarding abilities and interests.*
