Romantic Restaurants for a couple

Araxi

Located just steps across the Village Stroll from the Crystal Lodge, Araxi is the perfect spot if you are looking for an à la carte romantic dinner. Get dressed up and head over to Araxi to enjoy a variety of seafood options 0r try a filet mignon or steak; whatever you do, make sure you try what makes Araxi famous – the oysters!

Rimrock Cafe

Near Creekside, locals love the Rimrock Cafe, an excellent spot which has a fireplace, warm lights and high-class service for a celebration or a fabulous dinner with your partner. The Lobster Bisque, which is smooth and luxurious, is one of the most popular dishes. Many people also adore the Sticky Toffee Pudding; it is creamy and sweet and a great choice to finish a fantastic dinner at the Rimrock Cafe.

Wild Blue

For elevated Pacific Northwest cuisine inspired by Japanese, Italian, and French masters, look no further than Wild Blue. The shadowy atmosphere created through accents of Oak, Black Walnut, and mirrors provide flattering lighting for a romantic date night. We love how they provide a seasonal menu so we can revisit it time and time again.

IL Caminetto

A large Italian restaurant in the centre of Whistler Village, IL Caminetto. With a recent renovation, this restaurant is probably the most gorgeous of our favourite Whistler fine dining choices. The Italian Salumi and House-Made Charcuterie is our favoured appetizer. This platter is huge, so we recommend sharing it or choosing it for your main course. Otherwise, be prepared to take home leftovers!

Bear Foot Bistro

Bear Foot Bistro is a treat for your taste buds and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Chef Melissa Craig puts her heart and soul into creating seasonally fresh dishes with only the freshest ingredients. Mains include a Québec quail and opal valley lamb sirloin, which are unmatched. With a wine director on staff to suggest the perfect pairing for your decadent dish, your taste buds will thank you. Indulge in the finest cuisine and wine and relish in the lush, chic atmosphere. Luxury is calling, it’s for you.

Casual Restaurants for friends trip

Beacon Pub and Eatery

Who wants to truly experience Whistler’s atmosphere?  If you want, we highly recommend going to the Beacon Pub and Eatery, located right in the centre of Whistler Village. The amazing location, cozy atmosphere, and local beers from Coast Mountain Brewing deep dive you into the locals’ culture. Eat Canadian favourites, like poutine and wings, and breathe the fresh air of Whistler while watching the people on the Whistler Village Stroll. Guests at the Crystal Lodge receive a 15% discount on food!

Crystal Lounge

Crystal Lounge definitely has everything that you need to enjoy with your mates. Karaoke, and Live Music are must-have things to socialize with your friends after your adventure. If you stay at the Crystal Lodge, your Crystal Advantage gets you a discount on wings – 50 cents anytime! If you want to let out your inner rock star, every Tuesday is Karaoke night, and many weekends have live music performances.

Tapley’s Neighbourhood Pub

Tapley’s Neighbourhood Pub is just that, your local neighbourhood pub that has been a fixture in Whistler since before Whistler and Blackcomb were one. This local favourite is also the place to watch big sporting events. Stop by to watch that airs all the big games from UFC, Hockey, Soccer, Football, World Cup Rugby, Cricket, Horse Racing and more on one of their many TVs. Don your jersey and come cheered on your favourite team in the local’s living room!

Cinnamon Bear

Get away from the crowds and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing apres at the Cinnamon Bear Bar & Grill, which has a long history as one of the locals’ favourite bars since 1982. With a giant sports TV, a pool table and interactive games, the Cinnamon Bear Bar is ideal for unwinding over a smooth cocktail or chilled beer. Locals rave about the Maple Chili Wings, which are crispy, spicy and a little sweet. Grab a seat in one of the comfy armchairs and enjoy a drink while you talk about the day’s adventure.

Longhorn Saloon

The Longhorn is one of the busiest establishments in Whistler, and with it situated right between Whistler and Blackcomb Gondolas, it makes it “the” place to be for après. You can literally ski or bike onto their newly renovated patio and grab a cold one after a big day on the slopes. Don’t worry about getting too cold – the tables all have heaters!
