Here are our top two things to do during the month of love, grab your friends, grab your lovers and let’s go!
Canadian Wilderness Adventures
Canadian Wilderness Adventures offers three incredible food filled tours. Start your day off right with the Yukon Breakfast tour which takes you on an exciting adventure via snowmobile through the Callaghan backcountry to a quaint cabin that overlooks the valley. Once at the cabin enjoy a homemade pancake breakfast prepared on an old fashioned wood stove with all the fixings.
The Mountain Top Fondue tour can be accessed via snowmobile or snowcat. Whichever mode of transportation you choose to conquer Blackcomb mountain at night will give you plenty of time to gaze down at the village lit up in all its glory in the valley below. Once you reach the Crystal Hut enjoy an evening of live music and delicious cheese and broth fondue, with all the fixings, and a slice of pie to end the evening.
Lastly, the Sproatt Steak Dinner is a must! Snowmobile the Callaghan backcountry at dusk underneath the stars and moon to a rustic cabin. Get cozy as you enjoy a 3-course Canadian steak dinner by candlelight. This tour is a mix of fun and romance to be had by all.
Alexander Falls & Brandywine Falls
Grab your snowshoes, pack a picnic and get ready to explore one of Whistlers many waterfalls. Winter has a tendency to make you feel like you’re in a whole other realm sometimes and experiencing a frozen waterfall is one of those times. Snowshoe to the bottom of these ice giants and set up your picnic and enjoy the views. Alexander falls is located in the Callaghan Valley just before the Olympic Village and Brandywine Falls is located 15 minutes south of Whistler along highway 99.
