Why not try axe throwing, one of the newest activities to come to Whistler. When we say Whistler has it all, we were not kidding.

Forged is located in Function Junction next to another fairly new kid on the block, Coast Mountain Brewing Co and is the only indoor axe throwing venue in Whistler. Dont worry if you don’t have any experience, they will give you the run down and let you have at er!

Forged Axe Throwing also know as FAT, was the brainchild of two former raft guides who, during a weeklong stag party, found that axe throwing was a perfect way to pass time in the woods and everyone was addicted to it right away. After some research they found that it was a legit sport and a year later, Forged came to life.

The Crystal Lodge team had the opportunity to try it out and hurl axes at the bullseye this summer and from experience, I can tell you, that this is where it is at. It is not very often that you get to launch a sharp object bigger than a dart at a bullseye with the amount of force and grit to leave a mark. Hitting the bullseye is a real sense of accomplishment and allows bragging rights for as long as your friends are willing to hear it.

So warm up that arm, don your plaid and show that bullseye who is boss!

Location

Forged is located in Function Junction south of Whistler Village. In a car it takes about 12 minutes to get from the main village to Function. You can also take a bus as all busses going south will end up doing a turn around in Function. Turn right off the Highway and continue straight untl the road takes a natural right. Forged will be located on your left hand side next to Coast Mountain Brewery and Vibe Dance Studio.
