Whether you’re part of a group, a couple, or exploring solo, these 4×4 tours offer a thrilling experience with no prior experience required. Knowledgeable guides will lead you through Whistler’s terrain and share the hidden gems off the beaten path. You can choose from two operators: Canadian Wilderness Adventures and The Adventure Group (TAG). Let’s dive into what each has to offer!
Canadian Wilderness Adventures offers an array of exciting tours. Their Call of the Wild ATV tour take you through old-growth forests and single-track terrain, leading you to the historical NorthAir gold mine site. For a breathtaking experience, the Mountain Explorer ATV Tour is a two-hour adventure winding up Blackcomb Mountain, where you’ll be treated to stunning views of the Coastal Mountain Ranges and Whistler Valley.
For a unique dining experience, consider the Salmon Bake ATV Tour. Drive your ATV up Blackcomb Mountain to the Crystal Hut, where you’ll enjoy a Pacific Coast salmon BBQ on Whistler’s best patio. Revel in the views of the Coastal Mountain Range and Whistler Mountain, accompanied by live music. After your rugged ATV Whistler adventure, relax and soak in the scenery before cruising down the mountain. You will catch an alpine sunset too!
Canadian Wilderness Adventures also offers Off-Road Buggy tours, e-bike rentals, and 4×4 Jeep sightseeing tours. Starting with a pick-up in Whistler Village, you’ll be taken to Callaghan Park, where you’ll receive appropriate gear and safety instructions before zipping around forest service roads on your adventure!
The Adventure Group offers a variety of exciting tours, one of the top picks for a Whistler summer adventure is TAG’s Side-by-Side tours. Enjoy views of the surrounding mountains, ride lakeside by glacier-fed lakes, and traverse beautiful Whistler forests. Experienced guides will lead you deep into the untamed wilderness.
You can choose to ride solo or with up to 4 friends!
Both Canadian Wilderness Adventures and The Adventure Group offer shuttle services from Whistler Village to the tour base. A valid driver’s license is required to drive ATVs and buggy tours; however, riding as a passenger is an option for most tours.
