Quietly Crunch Through the Forest

Snowshoeing is one of the easiest ways to get out and explore because if you can walk, you can snowshoe!

No matter what age or ability you can head out on the trails and head into the forests to see snow covered old growth trees and spot wildlife.  There are a few options when it comes to snowshoeing tours. You can simply rent a pair and head out on a self exploration or you can take a guided tour which can also be combined with another activity such as the spa or the Peak 2 Peak Gondola.

The Adventure Group also offers tours as well as combined activity tours, head out on an beginner tour or take advantage of a snowshoe spa day.  Their Natural Mystic tour is perfect for first-timers! Head up Whistler Mountain, then strap on your snowshoes for a trip through freshly fallen snow in Whistler’s most pristine old growth forest. This tour is famous for its birds that you will see and have the opportunity to hand feed. You can also try our amazing snow slides that are fun for the whole family.  Winter Wonderland is an intermediate tour.  Experience the solitude of freshly fallen snow in the forests and enjoy the views of Whistler Valley below. Head up the Whistler Gondola to Olympic Station and then walk back to Whistler Village.   For a combo, Snowshoe on Whistler Mountain and then relax at the Scandinave Spa! There are many options when it comes to snowshoeing in Whistler.
